Disease and Pests

Cherry Blossoms tree can be affected by pests and cause a disease. One of the scenarios is when a branch has a black swelling which can be called Black Knot, branches with these fall out.
Another type is a Powdery mildew which causes a white coating on the leaves.

sometimes, humans don't see the pests or insects that are in the trees. it turned out that spider mites cause yellowing or strippling yet it is hard to see because of the bark's colour.
tent caterpillars make large webbed nests in trees then it the foliage.
